Dr. Levins was born and raised in Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2008 and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 (Go Badgers!). After vet school, she completed an emergency focused internship at a specialty hospital in Wisconsin. The cold winters and her husband’s ties to Hawaii brought Dr. Levins and their two kitties to Honolulu. She continued to work in emergency medicine for 4 additional years before transitioning to day practice at Kailua Animal Clinic. Dr. Levins really enjoys meeting and creating relationships with the owners and pets at Kailua Animal Clinic.
Outside work, her activities include reading, traveling and exploring new cities, attempting to garden, scuba diving, taking too many pictures of her cats, taste testing any and all delicious food (especially cheese and sweets), and chasing around her baby.
