Outside of the clinic, Dr. Yoshicedo enjoys exploring what remains of Hawaii's natural beauty, vermicomposting, and getting involved in Hawaiian conservation efforts from household waste reduction and supporting local agriculture to repopulation of native plants and animals. She is also compelled to advocate for social and environmental justice. Dr. Yoshicedo has an indoor cat and a rotating assortment of exotic animal fosters.

Ryan Casuga, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Casuga was born and raised on this beautiful island of Oahu, living in Kaneohe for the majority of his life. After graduating from Hawaii Baptist Academy in 2003, he attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa for two years. Wanting to both study and explore outside of Hawaii, he transferred to the University of Oregon in Eugene where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2008. He continued to take classes in preparation for applying to veterinary school, and landed his first job as a veterinary technician here at Kailua Animal Clinic back in 2009. He moved to California in 2010 and there gained more experience as a veterinary technician at a few other veterinary hospitals.

Dr. Casuga received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, and spent his clinical year training at University of Missouri. He is happy to be back at home in Hawaii and working again with Kailua Animal Clinic. In his spare time, you will find him golfing, or at least watching golf. He also enjoys fishing and spending time with family.

Jack, Clinic Cat
Jack came to Kailua Animal Clinic as an orphaned kitten seven years ago, and has since made himself right at home. He spends his days laying about the clinic and pouncing on KAC staff members. Don't let his handsome good looks fool you; he prefers the company of cats over people and is often a complete grump. His favorite things are eating, sleeping, playing with catnip, and drinking running water from a faucet.
